ABOUT 

Mark Muscat, born on February 28th, 1982, displayed a strong inclination towards art from a young age. At on 18 years of age in the year 2000, he orchestrated his first solo exhibition of paintings. His journey led him to partake in various collective exhibitions which enriched his artistic growth. After a lapse of nine years, in 2009, Mark rediscovered his passion for painting. Over the recent years, he embraced art with great dedication and professionality, favouring the medium of acrylic on canvas. This renewed passion culminated in his second solo exhibition in 2020, which was a resounding success as a great number of people visited the week-long event curated by Ms. Valentina Lupo. Notably, Mark’s artistic ability was acknowledged internationally in March 2023, when he was invited to showcase some paintings in Forlì, Italy.

 

 

Francesca Attard, born on September 8th, 2002 demonstrated a strong inclination for art from an early age, which she developed and refined throughout her artistic journey. Amongst various mediums, she developed a preference for coloured pencils and graphite on paper. Francesca Attard studied Art and Design at the Mosta College of Arts, Science and Technology, culminating in her graduation with a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Fine Arts in 2023.

 

 

In the beginning of 2020, artists Mark and Francesca established a collaborative connection. By unifying their creative endeavours, they fused photography into a dynamic tool to shape their realistic artistic expression. In December 2020 they held their first exhibition together with the name ‘The Way to Realism’, where they showcased a selection of their finest creations. The successful exhibition unfolded at Casino Notabile’, Rabat, witnessing a strong and engaged audience. The two artists also had the pleasure of meeting the President of Malta George Vella and his wife Miriam within the exposition.

 

In December 2021, they held their second exhibition together with the name ‘Through the Veins of the Artists’, guided by the curation expertise of Ms. Valentina Lupo. Returning to its previous location at Casino Notabile’, Rabat, it received an official start with the inauguration of the President of Malta, alongside his wife Miriam.
